Trenchbleeders, mistakenly dubbed "Lucy" (as it is the name of one of them) are passive entities in Pressure, serving as a potential threat to the players in the Let-Vand Zone outside of the Hadal Blacksite.
Appearance
The Trenchbleeders resemble giant mobile mining/oil rigs; they have a platform-like base and four large mechanical "feet" for navigating around the trenches of the Let-Vand Zone. At the top of their flare stacks, a giant LiDAR camera scanner is present, scanning and lighting up large swaths of the Let-Vand Zone. On the side of their body extending down from their flare stack, there is what appears to be a large drilling arm.
Background

The Trenchbleeders were created specifically by Urbanshade to extract the bountiful resources present inside the Let-Vand Zone to maximize their profits.
Every Trenchbleeder autonomously scans, drills, and extracts resources found inside the Let-Vand Zone. This autonomous behavior allows the Trenchbleeder to passively generate income for Urbanshade and even while the Hadal Blacksite is under lockdown due to a containment breach. Once their cargo bays are full or their chosen resource pocket is empty, the Trenchbleeder returns to their designated loading bay to drop off resources and then returns to their duty of looking for resources.
With their specialized design for the Let-Vand Zone, the Trenchbleeders are fairly light and would implode if they left the strange conditions of the area.
As of the present day, only four known Trenchbleeders have been created, codenamed "Leon," "Rose," "Lucy," and "River." Once resources in the Let-Vand Zone dry up, all Trenchbleeders are set for deactivation and are bound to be dismantled for their parts, with the exception of Lucy, being specifically requested by Mr. Shade to allow her to roam the trench freely.
Mechanics
Only one Trenchbleeder is guaranteed to spawn during a run, that being Lucy[1] during the Ending Encounter. Indicated by HQ, Leon, Rivers, and Rose have a chance to spawn during the Airlocks. Lucy can also spawn in the airlocks.
When encountered during the Ending Encounter, Lucy is tasked by HQ with lighting up the area to prevent parasites from killing the player. After getting past the final Searchlight, Lucy will move without command and step on the searchlight attempting to pursue the player, killing it instantly.
During the Airlocks, one of the four Trenchbleeders will spawn and roam through the area, instantly killing any player careless enough to swim under one of their feet.

Trivia
- The Trenchbleeder is a direct nod to the 1000-THR "Earthmover" from Hakita's ULTRAKILL.
- It also has a remixed version of the Earthmover's theme as it's own, "Search Party" being a remix of "War Without Reason"
- This is further proven on the YouTube video of Search Party where REN (NoLongerNull) stated that he was instructed to make his own "War Without Reason" track in three days.
- The Trenchbleeder slightly resembles the All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) from Star Wars.
- Getting crushed by a Trenchbleeder is the only way to obtain their document.
- Getting crushed by a Trenchbleeder for the first time will reward the player with the "*splat*" Badge.
- All of the Trenchbleeders are named after people who had a notable effect on Urbanshade or Mr. Shade's life.
- Lucy is named after Mr. Shade's stillborn daughter.
- Leon is named after Mr. Shade's cat.
- Rose is named after a woman whose actions are currently classified.
- Rivers is named after the man who "gave his all in the battle against the Guardian Angel of the Banlands".
- Trenchbleeder noises are one of the more common ambiences heard while roaming around Pressure.[2]
- The only Trenchbleeder that will remain after extracting all resources in the Let-Vand Zone is named "Lucy" after the CEO of Urbanshade, Mr. Shade's stillborn daughter.
- The Trenchbleeders were designed purely to make money. When all valuable resources are extracted from the Let-Vand Zone, all Trenchbleeders will be dismantled for parts, save for Lucy who is to be set to freeroam mode to explore the trench for herself.
- The only reason "Lucy" will never be dismantled is because Mr. Shade specifically requested for her to never be dismantled. The superiors were very unhappy as they would need to pay for maintenance costs.
- While Trenchbleeders are being serviced, a skeleton crew of 12 men will manually mine the resources which is still enough to keep the flow of profit running smoothly.
- The Trenchbleeders do not need to be piloted, as they are run completely by the Navi-AI.
- This may explain Lucy crushing the Searchlight at the end of the final section without given any orders.
- Trenchbleeders are 1000 studs long, 1500 studs tall, and weigh 220,600 tons.
- When coming across Lucy in a normal encounter, there is a small chance that HQ will say this: “Lucy is passing through the area. Please do not bother her. I just had a stupid thought, what if he says it? What if he says "pwease"? Pwease do not bother her~”
- The Airlocks have been temporarily disabled by the developers. Because of this, it is not possible to encounter Leon, River, or Rose. However, Lucy will still appear in the ending encounter.
