Z-17 instances will sometimes become aggressive if their garden plots are invaded by individuals they aren't familiar with.
- The DiVine's Document
Z-17, codenamed "The DiVine", are active monsters in Pressure. They are temporarily immobile vine-like figures that can be found in the Oxygen Gardens of the Hadal Blacksite.
Appearance[]
A DiVine is a twisted embodiment of a Roblox blocky avatar composed of vines and moss. If you use free-cam or get close enough, you can hear its labored breathing, emphasizing its unsettling presence. While hostile DiVine are always standing straight up, passive DiVine can be found in a variety of poses. Hostile DiVine additionally sport a small purple flower on their heads, further distinguishing them from stationary DiVine. During Christmas, the DiVine and the grass become covered in snow, taking on a ghostly white hue.
Mechanics[]
The DiVine only appear in the Oxygen Gardens room type, standing on the plots of grass and trees. They appear to be immobile, and emit a faint breathing noise. Initially, DiVine posed no threat to any players, however, since the Four Point Five Update, if one steps in their patches of grass, at least one of the surrounding DiVine will become hostile and chase down said player until they either catch up to them or leave the patch of grass. Once the DiVine makes contact with the player, they will be knocked to the ground, and the DiVine will begin beating down on the player, dealing a total of 74 damage. They then proceed to slap the player and deal an extra 1 damage, totaling to 75 damage. Once they are finished, the DiVine will begin wandering around their patch of grass until another player steps into their territory.
Strategy[]
DiVine will make no attempt to harm you as long as you stay off of their grass, so it is best to stay on the surrounding pathways in order to avoid provoking them. In dark rooms or rooms with Eyefestation, your best bet is to skirt around the border of the room until you find the next door, as the grass plots are usually centered in the middle of the room. Some DiVine in the area are passive, being merely just props and will not attack even if the player steps on the grass. The passive and neutral DiVine can be distinguished by their appearance; by the look of their legs. A DiVine that is passive will have roots on its legs sticking it to the ground which prevents it from moving. Thus, the ones without roots are the ones that are hostile, while also having a tiny flower on their head. Also, as of the Four Point Five update, DiVine that are passive will also be covered in snow while aggressive DiVine will (usually) keep their natural appearance. If you need to step on the grass at any given time, pay attention and examine the surrounding DiVine to see if any of them would attack you. Hostile DiVine will not spawn in Oxygen Gardens rooms with the Internal Defense System activated.
It is not advised to try and outrun a DiVine, as they are too fast for the player, and will always catch up to them. But if you must, you can use the SPR-INT injector item to be able to outrun them.
