Z-1264, codenamed "Rebarb" is a hostile monster in Pressure acting as one of the most common threats to players in The Hunted expedition of the Hadal Blacksite.
Appearance[]
Rebarb takes the appearance of concrete chunks being pieced together by a bundle of rebar. On one arm, there are copper pipes bent to look like a hand. On the other arm, there’s another huge chunk of concrete with bits of rebar sticking out which gives it the appearance of a mace. On Rebarb's head is yet another huge chunk of concrete with a stain and one eye in it.
Mechanics[]
Rebarb will rush quickly at the player from the darkness in any room. As it's rushing to the player, the player must quickly flash Rebarb with their Flash Beacon to stun it and scare it away. If not flashed in time, it will tackle the player dealing 20 damage before promptly getting flashed by the player.
In the Vault, it can spawn in after the player has collected 7 Mega Token fragments(10 now that The Hunt is over.)
Strategy[]
The best way to avoid being attacked by Rebarb is to immediately face the direction that you hear it making noise from and flashing the Flash Beacon towards it as it gets closer to you. Once Rebarb has been flashed, it'll fall over, get back up, and then quickly run away. Rebarb can also be effected by the the Flash Beacon's flash even if it was used too early since the flash takes a while to fade away.
Note, that Flash Beacons do not have infinite range - if the player is far enough away, Rebarb will not be stunned. Therefore, it is advised that the player can see the Rebarb close enough before flashing it. However, Rebarb can be flashed through barriers like the fences scattered around the area or through openings in the walls.
Another way of avoiding the Rebarb is to enter a nearest locker before it catches the player. It will come towards the locker but will then simply run away as it cannot do anything.

- Rebarb more likely has familiar design to Candlebearers, also footsteps sounds, but sped up
- Rebarb & Pipsqueak are the only 2 Hunted monsters to be assigned a designation (Rebarb’s being Z-1264 and Pipsqueak’s being Z-283).
- Rebarb’s design has been noted as looking somewhat similar to The Exploder Necromorph's, creature from Dead Space.
- Rebarb may have been visually inspired from SCP-173's new design
- According to Zeal, Rebarb (along with possibly Pipsqueak and The Crooked) might get added in the main game. If this happens, it will likely be a special encounter or rare monster.
