"Yeahhh, that was just unfair. Uhh, here. Free revive. On the house."

- Sebastian, after dying to Harbinger.

The Harbinger, or The 'Death Angel', was previously an 'Admin-Only' hostile monster in Pressure, acting as a unique threat to the players as it could only be summoned by an Admin. However, after the 'Four Point Five' update, The Harbinger can now spawn in Endless Mode.

Appearance

The Harbinger appears to be a gray/black, distorted, semi-kite-shaped face with needle-like fangs inside of its' 'mouth'. The creature's mouth, in question, is simply a jagged split between the top and bottom halves of its' face. In place of its' eyes are deep, black, misshapen sockets.

Mechanics

As soon as The Harbinger is about to spawn, all of the lights in the blacksite will turn a bright red color, while the lockers and drawers begin opening and closing rapidly. After about 5-10 seconds of this, all of the slamming will stop, which indicates that The Harbinger has spawned. Harbinger makes a notably quiet, tonal humming sound while it is nearby. The Harbinger acts like a slower Pandemonium, following players around and killing them on contact. If The Harbinger aims for you while hiding in a locker, it will start a minigame like Pandemonium’s but significantly harder and kept on going forever with no end.

As shown in a recent charity stream, in The Harbinger‘s minigame, not only will your cursor be continously shot around the screen like when Pandemonium slams against the locker, but the white circle that you need to keep your cursor within will teleport randomly around the screen on impact. The amount of the bar you gain back for these impacts is notably smaller than Pandemonium's, leaving you nearly no additional time to react. In addition, these impacts can have little to no delay between one another, effectively stealing bar from you with no means of prevention. As a final difference, the text above the white icon reads ‘Good Luck’ instead of ‘Keep your cursor in the middle’.

As shown in the same stream, it is entirely possible with a certain PSS (Pandemonium Safe Spots, or spots on the map so safe from Node Entities that even Pandemonium cannot catch a player in them) to evade The Harbinger entirely. If you do decide to attempt this, avoid doing anything that would make noise, as The Harbinger is seemingly able to hear movement and Roblox VC. In the event that this occurs, it will begin pathfinding towards your location like a nextbot but slower, killing you instantly. This method may not prove efficient after the Four Point Five update, as The Harbinger may now have the ability to pathfind towards the Player regardless.

It should be noted that, if the Player dies to The Harbinger, there is a chance for Sebastian to give them a free revive due to their death being "unfair".

Strategy

The Harbinger can only spawn in a Endless Mode run, and even then, not likely. However, if it eventually does spawn, it always knows Where you are. The locker strategy used to be recommended, however this is ill-advised after the changes in difficulty to its locker minigame - as before it barely moved and you could fight back for a long time, now it is definitively a death sentence as eventually bad luck will cause too many bashes to the locker for you to react to. While Harbinger is initiating the locker minigame, it will still visually be in the room if you are not hiding (and are out of sight), and leaving cover will be an instant death.
